Although the wording of 3d doesn't specifically mention losing on purpose, I think the "assisted by a third party" could be made to apply here since a third party (drogonteeth) assisted joe420 by resigning 20+ games to him!

There are other possibilities, one is that he was deliberately hammering his account to annoy his opponents, to joe420's unwitting benefit, and the admin who terminated the account went for 3b instead of 3c on a marginal, but fairly unimportant, decision as to what category to ban him/her under. Oh btw., IP addresses would unfairly catch two friends of mine who live together and are certainly not the same person. I think in the first place they go on e-mail addresses and only look at IP addresses if they get suspicious.
